Named after the Gallego word for "rebel," this family winery sources its grapes from the steep, slate-rich vineyards of Amandi, a subregion of Ribeira Sacra. Originally a small, personal project, Guímaro evolved under Pedro Rodríguez to focus on traditional methods, including hand-harvesting and working with old vines. This Mencía offers vibrant aromas of ripe red berries, cherries, and delicate floral notes balanced with a touch of spice.
