Gönc Winery - Harvest Moon

Gönc Winery is rooted in family tradition dating back to 1936, when Peter Gönc's great-grandfather built their first wine cellar and planted vineyards around it in the small town of Dobrovnik, Slovenia. Peter represents the fourth generation of winemakers in the family, who practice organic farming with little to no added sulfites at bottling. "Harvest Moon" is crafted from Pinot Grigio grapes harvested under the auspicious light of the full moon. This wine undergoes long maceration with no sulfites added, allowing nature to shape its distinct amber hue. On the nose, it reveals aromas of dried peach, orange blossom, and hints of hoeny and leafs. The palate is rich and layered, with a harmonious balance of tannins and acidity, delivering a complex and memorable experience.
