ORANGE WINES
Orange or amber wines, some of the world's oldest, were born over 8,000 years ago. In other words, it's a white grape skin-contact wine. Back then, they were made in Qvevri or amphoras, large clay vessels buried underground with white grapes juice and their skins. This process produces complex aromas of dried fruits, dried herbs, tropical notes, florals, spices, and minerals. With a full-bodied texture, they present intense flavours of nuts, stone fruits, honey, and earthy elements. Their bold, tannic structure makes them perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes from all around the world, explaining their growing popularity.
