Galactic Saravá Skin Contact is the brainchild of winemaker Miguel Viseu and journalist Leli, born in 2018 in the Sub-Lima region of Vinho Verde. Known for its naturally high acidity and balanced pH, the region's unique terroir shines through in this amber-hued wine. Eschewing conventional techniques with yeasts, enzymes, and sulfur, they let the wine speak for itself. The process involves 95% destemmed and 5% whole bunch maceration for five months, followed by aging in chestnut barrels and clay tinajas for three months. Named “Galactic” to connect earth and cosmos, this wine reveals layered notes of grapefruit, orange, lees, and stony minerality.
