San Marzano - IL Pumo Negroamaro

Cantine San Marzano was founded by 19 vintners in a small town in the centre of the Primitivo di Manduria DOP area, in the Puglia region. The team of winemakers are led by Caterina Bellanova and Davide Ragusa, both of whom were born and raised in Puglia. Davide is a young professional who developed his practical skills during several harvests abroad, while Caterina created a peculiar and innovative style of using the local Negroamaro grapes, making San Marzano recognisable from the first sip. Red fruits join secondary aromas like smoke and earthiness to make Il Pumo Negroamaro a delicate wine, with a complex palate full of relaxed tannins and smooth acidity.
