About
For over four generations, the Catena family has cultivated vines at the foothills of the Andes Mountains in Mendoza, a region known as one of the best terroirs for Malbec grapes. This amazing Malbec, crafted by the founder's great-grandmother, is a deep purple wine that opens with an inviting bouquet of blackberries and blueberries. Following right after are complementing subtle notes of violet and a touch of spice. Harmonizing with that is its rich and velvety texture.
The wine boasts well-integrated tannins, bright acidity, and a flinty minerality that provides exceptional length to the finish. Although Malbec is a French grape, it has found another home in Mendoza.
