Bardos - Rueda Verdejo

Bardos Verdejo is a white wine from D.O. Rueda, produced by Bodegas Bardos. They make world-renowned wines in twelve different Spanish D.O., including Hacienda López de Haro. Local Verdejo grapes come from vineyards that are 20-25 years old, located in Rueda at more than 700 metres of altitude and rich with stony soil. The harvest is carried out at night, and they try to perform it at temperatures below 15ºC. Such cold grapes can ferment better and develop all the varietal's aromas, such as orange, peach and pineapple. The palate is refreshing and creamy. The wine rests on its lees for at least 4 months.
