Kobal - Roots Sauvignon

A small boutique winery located in northeastern Slovenia, near the Austrian border, where wine culture has a history spanning nearly 2,000 years. The terrain of the Štajerska region is characterized by steep-sloped vineyards and narrow, wind-swept hill valleys. Winemaker Bojan has made his mark with his award-winning Sauvignon Blanc, and this skin-contact expression is no exception to his excellence with the varietal. Orange wine fermented and matured with a skin contact for a 15 days, reveals vibrant aromas of green apple, gooseberry, and freshly cut grass, with subtle notes of elderflower and lime. On the palate, it is crisp and zesty, leading to a long, refreshing finish that showcases lively acidity and a clean, invigorating character.
