Walter Frauwallner has his principles: no growth at any price, manual harvesting, no herbicides for ten years, and no fertilizer for 25 years. The grape varieties find the perfect basis in the volcanic and calcareous soils of Straden and St. Anna- developing into structured, individual top wines. Frauwallner-Sämling 88, also known as Scheurebe, shows aromas of tropical fruits, including passionfruit and pineapple, along with hints of citrus and floral undertones.
