Denavolo established in 2005, is a small family estate in the province of Piacenza. Giulio Armani, often called the "mad scientist" of Italian orange wines, is renowned for his fearless experimentation, especially with long maceration techniques. The estate’s oldest vines date back to 1975, producing beloved, approachable yet complex orange wines. Using local Italian varietals, the wines are spontaneously fermented, spending 6 days on the skins and 8 months on the lees in tanks. Local varietals, low intervention, no fining, filtration, or added sulfur. Bursting with notes of nectarine, fennel, and herbs, its textured palate and vibrant acidity showcase Armani's bold vision and Denavolo's rich terroir.
